Copy comes first.
When you're looking for a website, you're really looking for something that does a job. Your domain stays with your current provider; I update the settings so visitors land on your new Squarespace site. Your email and anything else tied to that account keep working, untouched.

I'll put up a simple, professional holding page to bridge the gap — so anyone who visits in the meantime still sees something polished.
What Does a Website Project Actually Include?
Do I need to start from scratch?
Not necessarily. Sometimes the right project is a completely new website. Other times, the better answer is restructuring what's already there — reorganizing pages, refining the visual direction, improving the messaging, or rebuilding around the parts that still work.
Do you only build on Squarespace?
Yes. I build on Squarespace because it's reliable, flexible, and easy for clients to own after launch. As a Platinum Circle Squarespace Partner, I can also push well beyond standard templates with custom layouts, code, animation, and integrations.
Can you move an existing website to Squarespace?
Yes. I can help move content from an existing platform, rebuild the site structure, transfer blog content where needed, connect or transfer your domain, and make sure the transition feels intentional rather than like a copy-and-paste migration.
Is SEO included?
Every website includes a solid SEO foundation — page structure, headings, metadata, image optimization, and the technical basics needed for search engines to understand the site. Larger projects can include more in-depth SEO structure and strategy.
What happens after launch?
Your site is built so routine updates are manageable on your own. When you'd rather hand something back to me, I'm available for ongoing support, edits, and larger improvements as the site grows.
