Fully Human Psychology’s brand and website is packed with soul.

A brand rooted in therapy and Arizona's spirit. When Fully Human Psychology reached out to Inflow Healthcare Designs, the goal was clear: to create a brand that resonated with their existential-humanistic and somatic approaches to therapy while reflecting their Arizona roots. The challenge was to translate this vision into a cohesive logo, website, and branding materials that would emotionally engage potential clients.

“I could tell immediately that they provide a personal touch and creative approach to their work, and value working with the psychological and healthcare fields at a reasonable price.”

Initial Concepts: A Journey of Discovery

We began the process by developing several logo concepts grounded in symbolism relevant to Fully Human Psychology's philosophy. The initial designs drew inspiration from ancient Arizona cave paintings, incorporating hand and star motifs to symbolize humanity's quest for guidance—an apt metaphor for the therapeutic journey.

A cozy room features a black armchair, a standing lamp, a wooden bookshelf filled with books, a small decorative table, and framed artwork and certificates on the wall.
A starry night sky with the Milky Way galaxy visible over desert landscape with large reddish rock formations.

Additional designs drew inspiration from Irvin D. Yalom's The Gift of Therapy, incorporating windows and desert landscapes as metaphors for insight and growth. The logo evolved by blending these elements with Arizona’s natural beauty, creating a sense of place and timelessness. After thoughtful consideration, we gravitated toward a design featuring desertscapes and subtle symbols of growth, ultimately crafting a logo that truly encapsulates the essence of Fully Human Psychology.

Collaboration: Merging Vision & Design

The collaboration between Inflow and Fully Human Psychology evolved into an ongoing dialogue, clarifying the branding and website design. Key enhancements included the integration of quotes from renowned psychologists on the homepage and a balanced color scheme that reflected the therapeutic journey from darkness to light.

Smartphone screens displaying therapy app content with titles about Existential-Humanistic Approach, scenic night landscape with a rock formation, and an orange 'Learn more' button.

The design featured a night sky transitioning to lighter desert tones as users scrolled, mirroring the emotional experiences clients undergo in therapy. This concept deeply resonated deeply with us, reinforcing the connection between the brand and its purpose.

“I met with Justin for one Zoom call, and discussed my vision for the private practice, my approaches to therapy, a rough vision for the website, and provided photos to some art pieces that seemed to speak to my practice and the design of my office space. Justin went from there and created a website that really surprised me with how much it actually helped me clarify my vision and increase my inspiration for the venture of opening a private practice.”

The Final Touches

As the logo and website took shape, we shifted focus to complementary branding elements. We envisioned brochures and business cards that would mirror the website’s aesthetic, ensuring a cohesive and unified visual identity. The website was designed to feature in-depth explanations of therapeutic approaches, resources, media, writings, and a dedicated section for the upcoming podcast, Becoming Fully Human—all built on Squarespace for a seamless user experience.

The collaboration remained deeply personal throughout the process. Dr. Bradshaw provided valuable insights and stories that shaped his vision, while Justin, drawing from his own connection to the mental health field, was fully committed to bringing that vision to life.
