S T A R T H E R E
Welcome. Here’s how this works.
We've talked, you've approved the proposal — this page covers what happens next: what happens when, what I'll need from you, and how we keep things moving.
Your agreement covers the full terms. This is the practical guide. Questions at any point — just email me at contact.inflowdesigns@gmail.com

Six steps, start to finish.
The same sequence, every project. You always know where we are and what comes next.
-
Review and sign the agreement — that's what officially kicks things off. Then a short intake form, plus your content, assets, and access. Rough notes are fine — I'd rather have honest fragments than polished filler. It's how I learn what words like "clean" and "modern" mean to you.
-
Once I have your signed agreement and intake form, I'll confirm everything's received and we lock in your start date. Your timeline lives in your proposal — the biggest factor in keeping it is how quickly I receive content and feedback.
-
I design the piece that sets the direction — the homepage for a website, initial concepts for a brand. You see real work before your first payment, and if the direction needs to change, this is where we change it: early, when it's easy.
-
Once you've sent your first-draft feedback, the first invoice (50%) goes out. When it's paid, I build out the rest of the project — you've already seen the direction, so this stretch moves fast.
-
Structured refinement rounds, big decisions to small details. It's the section most worth reading on this page — see "How refinement works" below.
-
You review everything and give final approval. Once the final invoice (50%) is paid, everything becomes yours: site transfer and launch prep for websites, final files for brand and print work.

How refinement works.
Refinement runs like a funnel: big decisions first, small ones last. Each round has a job. This keeps your rounds meaningful — so we don’t find ourselves on Round 3 re-deciding something that should have been set in Round 1.
R O U N D 1
Direction. Everything is on the table.
Layout, structure, colors, fonts, overall style, imagery, the big stuff. This is the round to share the draft with anyone whose opinion matters to you — your partner, a colleague, even an AI agent. Gather it all and send it over as one list.
R O U N D 2
Content.
Copy, wording, messaging, tone. The structure and style are set; this round makes sure it says the right things, the right way.
This is also where we finalize any copy I've drafted or refined for you.
Why the funnel matters: changing colors or layout in Round 3 means rebuilding finished work, so requests that belong to an earlier round are billed at $100/hour — the same as any added scope. That rate also applies to rounds beyond the included rounds.
One more thing that helps: send each round’s feedback as a single consolidated list rather than a trickle of messages. It keeps me designing in focused stretches instead of stop-start.
R O U N D 3+
Polish.
Spacing, alignment, small swaps, final details. By now the big decisions are behind us — this round is pure tightening.

What I need from you.
The single biggest factor in your timeline is how quickly I receive content and feedback. Assets go to contact.inflowdesigns@gmail.com
✓ Written content or rough notes (services, about, FAQs — fragments are fine)
✓ Logo files and any brand assets (colors, fonts)
✓ Photos and headshots
✓ Business and contact details
✓ Links, embed codes, or logins for anything we’re integrating
✓ Domain and platform access where relevant

First payment (50%) comes after you’ve seen and responded to the first draft.

Final 50% at approval, before delivery or transfer.

Outside the agreed scope — quoted or billed at $100/hour, always flagged before it happens. Invoices are sent by email and payable online. Full payment terms are in your agreement.

Meetings & communication.
Every project includes two live meetings: the intro call, plus a second you can use whenever it’s most useful — many clients save it for first-draft feedback or a pre-launch walkthrough. Beyond that, we work over email, which keeps everything documented. Additional meetings are available at $100/hour. Questions in between don't count as meetings — email anytime.
If I’m waiting on content or feedback, I’ll follow up weekly. After three follow-ups or 30 days of silence, the project may be paused (details in your agreement). If life gets busy, just tell me — a quick “need two more weeks” keeps everything on track.

What happens after.
Websites
Once the final invoice is paid, I transfer the site to your Squarespace account. You purchase the Core hosting plan directly from Squarespace (their current pricing is on squarespace.com/pricing), the domain gets connected — how depends on where it lives, see add-on services below — and the site goes live.
Then: four free minor edits per month for your first 90 days — text updates, image swaps, small adjustments. Larger updates or new pages are quoted separately.
Branding & Print
You receive final files in the formats you need. Files are stored for 90 days after completion — download and back them up.

Optional, never a surprise.
None of these are required. They’re listed here so pricing is never a surprise later.
Every Inflow website includes Foundation SEO — keyword-targeted page titles, written meta descriptions, clean heading hierarchy, and focused page structure. That’s the groundwork that makes a site readable to search engines and to AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity.
-
Everything that helps you get found: structured data (schema) so AI can name you as the answer, Search Console setup and monitoring, Google Business Profile, sitemap and indexing, then regular reports with a short, specific list of changes each cycle.
One note: search is a slow build — meaningful movement usually shows at four to six months.
-
Builds on Management: dedicated landing pages written around what your audience actually searches, optionally paired with a social campaign that points traffic back to them. Quoted per scope.
-
I move your domain (GoDaddy, Wix, Google Domains, anywhere) into Squarespace, so site, billing, and renewals live in one place. If your domain already lives with Squarespace, connecting it is part of launch — no charge.
-
Your domain stays where it is; I coordinate the DNS so visitors land on the new site without disrupting your email or anything that already works.
-
A clean placeholder if there’s a gap between the old site going dark and the new one going live.
Rather handle the domain yourself? I’ll send you the exact steps — no charge :)
Ready? Two steps.
01
Sign and return the agreement.
Review, sign, and return the agreement so we can officially get started.
Once I have both, I'll confirm and we're officially on the calendar.
02
Complete the intake form.
A simple intake form to clarify goals, style, content, and next steps.
