I'm Justin Ahn — a designer based in Detroit, though I can be found in Bangkok about two months a year.
Before Inflow, I spent several years as a creative director at a national design agency, overseeing teams across most categories of design work. Inflow started, in part, because of my wife, Dr. Por Por, a clinical psychologist whose work in integrated healthcare rarely came with designs to match.
Working with her made that gap obvious, and Inflow grew from there. Today, Inflow is the practice I always wanted to work at — close to the people behind the businesses, focused on getting it right, and open to whoever shares that same care for what they're building.
These days Inflow works with people at a turning point — launching, rebranding, finally giving the work the presence it's earned. Most of them aren't looking for a vendor. They want someone who'll understand the business first and design second, and stay in it for the long run. If that's the kind of working relationship you're after, I'd like to hear from you.

Do you work with clients outside the Detroit area?
Yes — most of my work is done remotely, so location isn't a barrier. I'm based in Auburn Hills, just outside Detroit, and I work with clients across the country (and keep some availability for other time zones, since I'm in Bangkok a couple months a year).
What platform do you build websites on?
Squarespace, always. As a Platinum Circle Squarespace Partner, I build on a platform that's reliable and genuinely easy to own — so you're never locked into me to make a small change. There are no ongoing design fees; the only ongoing costs are your domain and Squarespace plan, paid directly to them. And minor edits down the road are on me, free for life.
How much does a project cost?
It depends on scope, but I keep pricing transparent rather than making you ask. Branding starts at $500 for a logo and the essentials, and full identity work goes up from there. Websites start at $1,500. You'll find the tiers laid out on the branding and websites pages — and if your project doesn't fit neatly into one, we'll figure out the right scope together.
What's it actually like to work with you?
We start with a conversation, not a contract — I want to understand the business, the people, and what you're trying to build before I touch a logo or a layout. From there it's collaborative and iterative: I'll show you directions, you'll react, and we'll refine until it feels right. I'm not looking for one-off projects. I'd rather be the person you call the next time something comes up, too.
Do you only work with healthcare businesses?
No. Inflow started in healthcare — that's where it began, and it's still close to my heart — but today I work across all kinds of industries: lifestyle, real estate, events, coaching, small business, and more. The healthcare roots mostly show up as a habit of taking the work seriously and getting the details right, wherever it's pointed.
